My Approach As a lifelong golfer with a single figure handicap I have played many different makes of equipment all having their own characteristics and vices, never once stopping to think that the bad shots could possibly be a result of inappropriate clubs or club fitting.
It seemed so obvious that I decided to make a business out of helping others understand how custom fitting was not just for the professional or Pro-Tour player but could be applied to the capabilty and expectations of amateur golfers of all ability levels particulalrly those seeking a little more understanding of the interaction between swing and equipment. As a qualified Custom Club maker I have helped many golfers understand much more about the equipment they have and to experience how much better custom fitted equipment can be. Most golfers have at least one parameter of their set incorrectly matched to their swing, usually shaft flex or club length, that can be adjusted easily. Improving your golf performance is a partnership, usually between you, your teaching Pro and the practice ground, not necessarily in equal parts! I provide a further advantage by ensuring the component that connects your swing to the ball helps rather than hinders this process meaning your hard work practicing pays-off with better results. ******* New for 2010******* All new shaft fitting system 'S2S' ***************************** Note: Additional email address from March 2010 phil [at] golfbats.co.uk and www.golfbats.co.uk ************* Benefits What is Custom Club fitting? I provide all the equipment necessary to begin the process, normally with a Swing Speed analysis, dynamic lie check and clubhead impact analysis. You decide how much or how little you want to do, I'll provide a plan on what could be achieved considering your budget, practice opportunities and swing dynamics....it is as easy as that. I look forward to hearing from you...Phil Sewell Updated March 2010 |
